Monart X.ZA Green & Black 1920s Aventurine Glass Bowl - Labelled

Description

A Monart green & black mottled glass bowl with speckles of copper aventurine. Made by the Scottish Moncrieff's factory in the 1920's, pattern number X.ZA.162. Still bears the original factory label, which reads "Moncrieff's, Monart Ware" along with the hand written pattern number. Breaking the pattern number down, X is the size (5 inch diameter), ZA is the shape number, and 162 is the colour code.

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
