Loetz / Lötz Art Nouveau 1900's Glass Creta Rusticana Vase

Description

Here we have a beautiful Austrian green glass dimpled vase from the late 19th century art nouveau period. Has a stunning oily, iridescent finish. Made by Loetz, part of their "Creta Rusticana" pattern range.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has what appears to be a very shallow flake chip or flaw to the rim, shown in final picture. Very hard to see unless you catch the light at just the right angle.
