Skrdlovice #6240 Czech Glass Sculpture Bowl by Jan Beránek

Description

A stunning Czech amber + green glass sculpture bowl. Made by the Skrdlovice glassworks, and designed by Jan Beránek in 1962, pattern number 6240. This piece is shown in the original Skrdlovice pattern book drawings, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz), and also shown in the 1965 Czech Glass Review.

Size

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of fleabites to the base rim, shown in final picture.
