Skrdlovice #5960 Czech Pink & Blue Glass Bowl by Emanuel Beránek

Description

A stunning Czech pink + blue glass sculpture bowl. Made by the Skrdlovice glassworks, I believe this was possibly designed by Emanuel Beránek in 1959, pattern number 5960. This piece is shown in the original Skrdlovice pattern book drawings, see last image (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz), but it is difficult to be certain from the drawings, due to the rather simple shape.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 5.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few mior surface scratches.
