Welz Czech Art Deco Yellow & Blue Tango Glass Vase

Description

A superb 1930's Czech/Bohemian bright yellow blown glass vase with applied dark blue glass rim and hot glass winding. Made by Welz. Ref: [click here]. Known as "mono-coloured" or "tango" glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the very tip of the blue glass winding, hardly noticable, and common in items of this type. Shown in final picture.
