Mdina 'Blue Summer' Maltese Glass Abstract Knot Sculpture

Description

A wonderful blue & clear Maltese glass abstract knot sculpture with yellow speckles, by Mdina, unmarked. This pattern is often referred to as Sea and Sand by collectors, however according to the new Mdina book by Mark Warner, the correct name for this range is Blue Summer.

Size

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Due to the design it is a bit top heavy, so shouldn't be placed somewhere where it could be wobbled and tip over.
