Victorian Vaseline/Uranium Enamelled Green Glass Bowl

Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's glass bowl, probably British in origin but maker unknnown. Consists of opalescent yellow green glass with hand painted / enamelled floral pattern. Made in vaseline/uranium glass, which glows bright green in UV light. Has ground and polished concave pontil mark to base, a sign of good quality.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. May have originally had some sort of metal frame to sit in.
