Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's British glass "thorn" vase. Consists of a twin stemmed tubular opalescent yellow green glass flower holder with rustic stylised tree root "feet", and pulled out thorns. A similar vase is shown in the book Victorian Decorative Glass by Mervyn Gulliver, page 98. Most likely made by John Walsh Walsh from the Stourbridge area of England. Made in Vaseline/Uranium glass, which glows bright green in UV light! Would make a great addition to any collection!

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite to the tip of one of the feet. Amazingly, all the thorns seem to be intact.
