Loetz / Lötz Art Nouveau 1900's Glass Creta Rusticana Jug/Vase

Description

Here we have a beautiful large Austrian green glass vase in the style of a jug/pitcher, from the late 19th century art nouveau period. Has a stunning oily, iridescent finish. Made by Loetz, part of their "Creta Rusticana" pattern range.

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks or restoration, just a couple of manufacturing flaws as follows: A cluster of small bubbles to the rim. It's hard to tell from the picture, but these are definitely air bubbles and not a bruise/impact mark. To the side of the jug there is what looks like a tiny flake chip, however this is covered by the iridescent finish, so is obviously from the manufacturing process. All shown in final pictures.
