Czech / Bohemian Pair of Yellow & Black Tango Glass Vases

Description

A superb pair of 1930's Czech/Bohemian bright yellow blown glass vase with applied black glass rims. Probably by Welz or Kralik. Known as "mono-coloured" or "tango" glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914.

Size

Measure approx 8.25 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few tiny bubbles from the manufacturing process. There is also a slight difference in height between the two vases as they are hand made, see pictures.
