Chinese Murano Style Green & Blue Sommerso Glass Vase

Description

Here is a large and heavy (1.2 kg) green, blue and clear glass posy vase, with controlled bubble effect. Easily mistaken for Murano glass, indeed some sellers would like you to believe as such, but this beautiful, high quality, impressive piece was actually made in China. This design originally surfaced as a range of vases, bowls and candle holders, with the brand name "Star", by designer Julien Macdonald, and was sold in Debenhams department stores in the UK. This particular piece is marked to the base "STAR by Julien Macdonald" and also has a "Made in China" label.
