LABELLED Archimede Seguso Turquoise Glass Duck / Swan Figurine

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass duck or swan, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of turquoise glass encased in clear glass. This piece was made by Archimede Seguso, and still bears their well known scalloped label on the base (worn).

Size

Measures approx 7.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a slightly rough finish to the very tip of one of the wings, shown in final picture. Possibly a microscopic fleabite or could just be the way it was made. Very hard to spot and only mentioned for accuracy.
