Romanian Retro Red, Blue & White Speckled Glass Fish Vase

Description

A beautiful 1970's blue, white, yellow and red speckled glass vase in the style of a fish. Manufacturer unknown, but made in Romania. These fish are almost always misdescribed as Murano when found on various online marketplace websites, but they can sometimes be found with an import label which reads "Made in Rumania". "Rumania" (and also "Roumania") was the English spelling for Romania up until around 1975.

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just some grinding done to the rough pontil mark on the base.
