AVEM Murano Striped Glass Silver Leaf 'Circus Tent' Bowl

Description

Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by AVEM (Arte Vetraria Muranese). Unmarked, but I currently have a paperweight in this same pattern that is signed AVEM, and I've also seen a fish sculpture in this pattern that had the AVEM label. Decorated with silver leaf, and alternating stripes of red, blue, green and yellow, in a circus tent style pattern.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 6.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips, but sadly does have a faint fracture to the clear surface layer to the inside middle of the bowl, shown in final picture.
