AVEM Murano Purple & Blue Sommerso Bubble Glass Duck Figurine

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass duck sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Attributed to AVEM, based on a virtually identical design shared in a Murano Facebook group with the factory label. Reference: [click here]. In a stunning combination of purple glass encased in blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original generic label (very worn), which reads "Made in Italy, Murano".

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
