Description

This is a magnificent tall Venetian frosted blue glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, and is known as a "satinato" vase. Shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 46.

Size

Measures approx 14 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of minute fleabites to the inside rim, shown in final picture.
