Description

A 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass basket shaped bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by Fratelli Toso, and designed by Ermanno Toso. Similar items from this range can be seen in the book "Italian Glass: Century 20" by Leslie Pina, pages 168 - 171. In a stunning combination of dark cranberry pink + opaque opalescent white cased glass, with copper aventurine patches.

Size

Measures approx 8.25 inches tall by 9 inches in diameter at widest point.
