Salviati Murano Copper Aventurine Shot Glass/Tumbler

Description

Here is a wonderful 1900's Venetian glass shot glass/small tumbler, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with copper aventurine stripes, and applied coloured glass bobbles. Probably made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 176.

Size

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
