Salviati Murano Purple Glass Gold Leaf Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass miniature vase or shot glass, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Consists of purple glass with gold leaf inclusions. Attributed to Salviati, unmarked. Similar items can be seen in the book "Italian Glass Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 55.

Size

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 1.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
