Salviati Murano Zanfirico & Yellow & Orange Glass Plate

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass plate/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree, with twisted yellow & orange ribbons. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.
