Description

A 1930's Venetian red glass vase, with applied clear glass handles and base, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Barovier Seguso & Ferro, which was founded in 1933, and later became Seguso Vetri d'Arte in 1937. Still bears the very early factory label to the base, possibly the first label ever used by this factory. The label reads "Vetreria Barovier, Seguso & Ferro, Murano".
