V Nason & C Murano Aventurine Glass Bowl - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian glass apple shaped ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by V Nason & C., part of their Avventurina range, and still bears the factory label (very worn). In a stunning combination of black glass with lots of copper aventurine inclusions.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nibble to the underside tip of the leaf part, shown in final picture.
