Vetro Artistico Veneziano Murano Pink Glass Alabastro Cat Sculpture

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian sculptural glass cat sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of opaque pink alabastro style glass, encased in clear glass. Unmarked, but possibly made by Oball, based on the style of alabastro. Still bears the remains of a red + gold label which reads "Vetro Artistico Veneziano" (thought to be a retailer or export label).

Measures approx 7 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
