Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass 'geode' bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by the Mandruzzato factory, marked to base "Mandruzzato, Hand Worked, Murano". In a stunning combination of red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
