Arte Nuova Murano Brown & Amber Sommerso Glass Bowl - Labelled

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Arte Nuova in the 1950's/60's, and still bears the original factory label, which reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto & Zanetti, Made in Italy". In a stunning combination of brown glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
