Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Purple & Blue Glass 12" Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 12 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a few tiny fleabites to the rim, shown in final picture.
