Arte Nuova Pustetto & Zanetti Murano Pink & Green Sommerso Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Arte Nuova in the 1950's/60's, unmarked, but this design can be found online with a label which reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto & Zanetti, Made in Italy". In a stunning combination of cranberry pink glass cased in a band of turquoise green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of fleabite sized scuffs to the rim, shown in final picture.
