Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Purple & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 11.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a few tiny fleabites to the inside rim, normal for these items, and shown in final picture.
