Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass vase in the style of a jug, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by the Mandruzzato glassworks. Still bears the original factory label, which reads "Mandruzzato, Murano Italy, Lavorato A Mano, Hand Worked". Also has the Vetri Murano (VM) consortium label, with the number code "08" that was assigned to Mandruzzato. In a stunning combination of blue glass encased clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.
