Description

This is a magnificent large and very heavy (1.9kg unpacked) Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in pink glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the sommerso technique. Made by Archimede Seguso, signed to base "Archimede Seguso, Murano" and still bears the original Archimede Seguso factory label.

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
