Murano/Venetian Purple & Green Sommerso Glass Vase

Description

A Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 8 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny fleabites to the inside rim, shown in final picture. Also mentioned for accuracy, the neck of the vase has a slight twist.
