Tall Murano/Sommerso 1950's Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful tall 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Possibly by Seguso Vetri d'Arte or Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in paler blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 10.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of minute fleabites to the inside rim, shown in final picture.
