Description
Here is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of
Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the
Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. A very similar design can be found online with a label that reads
"Cristallo Venezia, CCC". Reference: [

here]. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed
sommerso technique.
Size
Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 11 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of nicks to the base rim, shown in final picture.
