Murano Latticino/Zanfirico & Aventurine Glass Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's/60's Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It has a rough finished pontil to the base. Decorated with alternating stripes of white criss-cross latticino/zanfirico strands and multicoloured ribbon filigree, some trimmed in golden coloured copper aventurine.

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 2.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
