Salviati Vintage Murano Zanfirico & Aventurine Glass Plate

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass plate, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of purple and white zanfirico lattice filigree, and copper aventurine. Made by Salviati, similar items are shown in the book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 139.

Measures approx 0.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.
