Cimarosti & Pinzan V. A. C. Murano Purple Sommerso Glass Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by the V. A. C. glassworks, which was owned by Giovanni Pinzan, Bruno Cimarosti and Giovanni Andreotta. Still bears the original factory label, quite worn, that reads "V. A. C. Murano, Cimarosti & Pinzan". In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 9.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
