Murano / Venetian Red Glass & Gold Leaf Vintage Basket Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian glass basket shaped bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made in red glass with an applied clear glass rim, handle and base, filled with gold leaf inclusions. Several factories on Murano made this style of glassware, including Archimede Seguso and Galliano Ferro.
