Murano Venetian Red Glass & Gold Leaf Vintage Bowl / Ashtray

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian glass bimorphic bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made in red glass cased in clear glass with gold leaf inclusions and a controlled bubble effect known as bullicante.

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few manufacturing flaws - white flecks inside the glass, shown in final pictures.
