Murano Large Mint Green & Black Glass Ashtray Bowl

Description

Here is a beautiful large 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Factory unknown, but Fratelli Toso would be my best guess. In a stunning combination of mint green glass with a sort of pinwheel or circus tent pattern, with an outer casing of black glass (actually very dark purple as can be seen in places). Does have the remains of a label on the base, but this is very worn and might just be a price label from a previous seller, but I have left it on just in case it means something.

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 11 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a fair bit of age wear to the base.
