HUGE Murano Purple & Blue Vintage Glass Centrepiece Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent, huge and very heavy (2.5kg unpacked) Venetian purple & blue glass centrepiece bowl. Made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Factory unknown, but based on the style my best guess would be Cristallo Venezia CCC.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 16 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Has a tiny lump of extra glass on the surface, probably caused by an air bubble during manufacture, and a bit of "bevelling" to the base rim, possibly also done during manufacture after the base was ground flat. All shown in final pictures.
