Murano Vintage Purple & Lattimo White Glass Bowl

Description

Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform biomorphic glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Unmarked and factory unknown, but based on similar labelled examples, my best guess would be Fratelli Toso. Made in opaque purple and lattimo white glass.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just a small dimpled area to the edge of the rim, could be from the manufacturing process, or possibly the result of a shallow ground out blemish. Hard to see unless the light catches it just right. Shown in final picture.
