Murano Venetian Pink & Green Glass Clam Bowl/Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful small 1950/60's Venetian glass biomorphic clam shaped sculpture bowl/vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Possibly made by Seguso Dalla Venezia. This design is unusual in that it has 2 "bases", and can be positioned vertically or at an angle (see pics). In a stunning combination of blue & pink glass. Can be used as a posy vase, trinket bowl or ashtray.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few surface scratches mentioned for accuracy.
