Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano
, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with silver leaf, and multicoloured murrines
. Surrounded with an outer casing of black glass. Most likely made by the Fratelli Toso
factory, due to similar bowls with the same style of hollowed canes, bearing a "Castle"
import label, which is almost always associated with Fratelli Toso production. Ref: see [here
