Description
Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of
Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with silver leaf, and multicoloured
murrines. Surrounded with an outer casing of black glass. Most likely made by the
Fratelli Toso factory, due to similar bowls with the same style of hollowed canes, bearing a
"Castle" import label, which is almost always associated with Fratelli Toso production. Ref: see [
