Murano Gold Leaf & White Filigree Glass Sculpture Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful large and very heavy (2 kilo's unpacked) 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of clear glass filled with loads of gold leaf inclusions and twisted white filigree strands.

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a few tiny nibbles to the underneath, shown in final picture, and not visible when on display.
