Barovier & Toso? Murano Gold Leaf Glass Zig Zag Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece is unmarked, but possibly made by Barovier & Toso. In a stunning combination of clear glass filled with gold leaf inclusions, and thick red zig zag lines, which give a striking and original effect.

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
