Murano Red Glass & Copper Aventurine Clam Bowl/Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass biomorphic clam shaped sculpture bowl/vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy This piece is unusual in that it has 2 "bases", and can be positioned vertically or at an angle (see pics). In a stunning combination of orangey red glass filled with loads of sparkly copper aventurine swirls.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 7.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
