Murano / Venetian Italian Gold Leaf Brown Glass Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of clear glass filled with gold leaf inclusions, with randomised pattern of large brown & white streaks, and applied black glass "feet".

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 8 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition apart from a chip to the side of one of the applied glass feet, not visible when on display, and shown in final picture.
