Archimede Seguso? Alabastro Pink Glass Dog Sculpture

Description

This is a magnificent large and very heavy (2 kilos unpacked) 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass dog, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of opaque cranberry pink and white glass, known as alabastro glass. Possibly made by Archimede Seguso, unsigned.

Size

Measures approx 10.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
