Murano Sommerso Textured Green & Amber Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This design was made by Mandruzzato, and possibly other factories. In a stunning combination of green glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in a part angular, part bark textured block of clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of small nicks to the inside rim, and one to an outside edge, all shown in final pictures.
