Murano Sommerso Textured Pink & Amber Glass Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This design was made by Mandruzzato, and possibly other factories. In a stunning combination of cranberry pink glass cased in a band of amber glass, which is further encased in a part angular, part bark textured block of blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of minor scratches.
